Ag Science I introduces the FFA, a youth organization utilized in the curriculum to develop leadership, cooperation, and citizenship skills through public speaking, parliamentary procedure, committee work, judging contests, and the earning of degrees and awards.

The Agricultural Business course will prepare students for application toward and employment in an agribusiness career. Topics will include self-assessment of skills, resume development, letter of application, interview techniques, follow-up letter, and evaluation of an agribusiness offer. Students will learn skills in sales, advertising, and merchandising. Various business systems will also be taught. Students will continue to work on leadership skills and have the opportunity to participate in various FFA judging contests.
