A.P. Biology is the equivalent of a college-level Biology I course. It is a challenging course designed to present an in depth, college level study of the Biological Sciences. A.P. Bio will help students develop college level critical thinking skills and study habits,  develop a better understanding, and respect for, the living world around them, and help prepare them for the comprehensive AP Biology Exam given in May. The A.P. Biology exam covers 3 major areas: molecules and cells, heredity and evolution, and organisms and populations. These are the main topics we will study throughout the course.
